The mic is on only while you are recording. You start it, and it stops when you say so — or when you leave: on Android, backgrounding the app ends the take, and an ended take is a sent take. What is kept either way is the words and the scores, not the audio.

Stopping is the send: the take goes off to be turned into words and coached, and comes back as a report. On Android, leaving the app stops it for you and sends it the same way. The transcript and the scores are kept against the session. The audio is not.

Every rewrite carries a timestamp, the words you actually said, and one line to try instead. Then you run it again.
It never says “be more confident.”
That is a horoscope. A finding points at a second of the take, quotes you word for word, and hands you a replacement you can say tonight.
